I trained as an Enrolled Nurse when I left college, and working in nursing for six years. I worked at Solent Student Union for 14 years as an administrator. I really enjoyed working with different ages and seeing the change in the students from the start of university until they left. I have worked as an administrator for District Nurses, Physiotherapy and Older Persons Mental Health. I have also worked in a GP Practice as a Reception Manager and Medical Secretary.
My passion is communication and empathy. I love meeting patients and their families and Support Workers. It is good to have the extra time with them. I can refer and signpost when needed. I love the rapport and being a point of contact for the families.
